Making Peace with Anxiety Workshop |
Making Peace with Anxiety
"The practices of yoga can calm the agitation of the mind."
– Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
Anxiety is one of the most common forms of agitation. It can range from slight palpitations to a debilitating physical and mental condition. According to the National Institute of Anxiety & Stress, anxiety is the number one mental health problem in the US. It affects about 40 million American adults, surpassing even depression in numbers. While Western medicine employs the use of therapy and medication, Yoga draws from the wisdom of body and Nature, helping you to activate your inner calm.
During this hour-long workshop, you will discover simple techniques that address your symptoms of Anxiety. This hands-on practice will guide you through the world of breath, body postures and movements, meditation and relaxation.
You will learn:
*how to face, accept and release your toxic emotions and thoughts;
*how to interpret and reverse the personal signs associated to anxiety;
*how to transform the power of fear into the power of Love and Light.
About the Instructor: With over 25 years yoga background, Yana Kazbekova (500RYT) spent half of her life traveling, learning yoga philosophy and different yoga traditions. This workshop is a logical outcome of her own life history. After having lived with Anxiety for almost two decades, she now offers the results of her profound self observation and thorough study of this life – limiting condition.
"Looking back, I find it a true blessing having had a chance to be there, as it has given me the insight necessary to share my experience with you and guide you towards your own inner peace."
Please, bring a yoga mat if you have one and water.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow ease of movement.
Have a light meal minimum 1 hour before the event.

"Yoga for Inflexible People" w/Claire |
Can't touch your toes? Feel tightness in your neck, shoulders, or hamstrings? If your answer is yes, then this is for you.
Suitable for all ages, sizes and shapes, “Yoga for inflexible people” is a 2-hour workshop that takes you into gentle movement sequences, especially designed to stretch those “stiff” areas painlessly and effectively. Learn how dynamic and resistance stretching can help you ease into the poses that you find challenging, while recognizing what poses are right for your body, and what modifications are available, whenever needed.
Still hesitant? Examine these myths about yoga!
Myth 1:
”Yoga is like chocolate. It appeals mainly to women.”
Yoga offers something for anyone who wishes to relieve stress, and optimize their ability to enjoy any other type of sport or activity. Improve that golf swing, backhand, breast stroke or martial art kick. Do an Internet search and find out how many professional football, hockey and baseball players practice yoga!
Myth 2:
”Yoga is for contortionists.”
In fact, Yoga can also help contortionists restore balance to their overstretched bodies… More seriously, there is a style of yoga for every type of body and every personality, whether naturally limber or not. Yoga offers a unique opportunity to balance our perceived strengths and weaknesses; strengthening the weak, loosening up the stiff, stabilizing the unstable, whether we are thinking of a muscle, a body part, a whole body, a person.

Energy Yoga Therapy Meditation w/ Arjuna |
Energy Yoga Therapy (EYT) is a unique meditation, activating a state of being during the journey into the internal Universe.
Energy Yoga Therapy is based on the law of energetic interaction. A person who is capable of reaching the State of Yoga (passing through and staying beyond all desires, thoughts, and feelings) transmits the Energy of the State of Yoga to all session participants allowing them to reach the state of calmness.
In this state the energy-information field of an individual is purified and balanced, the energy blocks are removed, and previous negative experiences that are reflected in the physical body as health problems, are dissipated.
Energy Yoga Therapy allows to release the earlier formed undesirable behavioral stereotypes. All participants will achieve a level of self-healing ability and prevention of chronic and early-stage health problem including tiredness and apathy. Participants will restore a way of living in joy, harmony, happiness and piece.
The creator of Energy Yoga Therapy, Andrey Belyaev, is extensively trained in ancient Yoga practices. He received his name, Arjuna (sansc. “morning dew”), during consecration. He has a Masters degree in Physical Education and Kinesiology and is a certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT). EYT is based on Arjuna’s 30 years of Yoga practice and 10 years of Raja Yoga teaching in various social-economic groups in Russia and the USA.
